Sports injuries can come in many shapes and sizes. Most common sports injuries include the following.

Strains where damage occurs to muscles or tendons. Tendons are fibrous cords of tissue that connect bone to muscle. The Achilles tendon is a thin, powerful tendon at the back of your ankle and is commonly damaged during sports. You may experience sudden, severe pain and difficulty in walking.
Bone fractures or broken bones.
Dislocations of a bone when a bone is forced out of its socket such as rotator cuff injury which is a tear in the muscle group that work together to form the rotator cuff.
